Inclement Weather/ Closure Notice and Procedures

There may be times that we need to open later, close early or close for a full day due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of a late opening we will notify parents as soon as the decision is made by our remind alert system. If the local school district is on a 2 hour late opening or closed for the day then we will at a minimum have a 2 hour late opening. This allows our opening staff to arrive safely. Canby Learning Tree follows Canby School District. Bonita Road and Tualatin Learning Trees follow Tigard/Tualatin School District.

In the event of a full day closure due to weather/unforeseen circumstance we will base our decision on the ability of our staff/parents to safely make it to and from our schools. We will post a notice on our website, Facebook and also send alerts out through our Remind system.

In the event of an early release we will notify parents as soon as the decision is made by telephone and our Remind alert system.
